This is a recipe that I came up with one day for some quick oatmeal, but with my own twist since I had some fresh apples on hand. I'm not one for measuring so use however much you like. If you're not sure, start small and add a little of each thing as you go. It's a great way to learn and explore more on your own! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Ingredients Old fashioned oats Apples (Chopped) Berries (I used frozen mixed berries) Yogurt (I used vanilla Greek yogurt) Butter Milk Water (optional, if you want it thinner) Brown sugar and white sugar Powdered cinnamon - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Let's Get Cookin': Cook the chopped apples in some butter 'til they're soft and a little brown. Toast the oats 'til they smell good. Throw in some butter and let it melt in. Pour in some milk (and water if you want). Cook 'til the oats plump up and soak up most of the liquid.
